Up and running again

Yesterday we were to leave RSTYC but had a minor mishap. I will not tell you what happened, it could and has happened to anyone. The real story is the staff at RSLYC lead by David Fleet. They got to work immediately, insisted on only the best most competent mechanic and even overed us a hotel. We settled for one of their truly fine meals on the balcony.

We all want to thank everyone at RSLYC for their fine work and of course great food.

This picture is of Irish Mist III waiting at St Catherine lock. We left RSLYC at 8:00 it is now 3:30 and we have traveled 10.5 kn. We are all learning patience. We are less Then 4 miles away form our destination, Port de plaisance Real-Bouvier. You can get a subtle boat there for Montreal. We plan to go if we get in by dark.

So far the lack of French has not been a problem. The Quebecois have been great in facilitating us en anglais.

We continue to sit at the St Lambert Lock. I will go up now and see if anything is happening.
