At 5:20 we castes off from the outside basin at the Marina de Quebec. Molly had been walked and the coffee made. The first 2 to 3 hours were slow. We have the motor running at 2100 rpm and for a while could only manage 3.4 kn. It is 8:21 now. We are proceeding up the south shore of doing about 7.5 kns. It is a beautiful day with a South wind of about 7 kns. Cap a l'Aigle is 53 knots away and currently it will take 7 hours. This will improve as the current gets stronger. The strong current is the reason we were off at 5:20.
