Right ship wrong order
When I last spoke to you I said we would be meting a ship and had to pay attention. I could see the ship and the AIS gave me it's name, but it was the wrong name. The reason is simple. The AIS is set up to warn me if we are going to hit another ship. If we are headed to within a half knot and the collision is within 10 minutes I get a warning. We could see the black ship but were not aimed at it. We could not see the red ship, it was behind an island, but were aimed at it. Thus the reason for the wrong name. The next slide will only have a picture of the red ship.
