The picture we have all been waiting for

This is the best we could do. It does not do justice to our experience. As we arrived about 10:00 AM we turned off the motor and drifted down the diver.jUst east of our location there were 3 or 4 whaling boats. We could see they were around a whale, we did nothing. The next thing we new they were coming towards us. The whale passed about 40 feet away from us on the other side of the whaling boats. Then out of the blue a mink whale about the size of out boat 35 or 40 feet long swam within 4 feet of Irish Mist. We did not get a picture but all saw it. We then waited around for about 2 hours. We saw several seals, a minke whale with two babies, it's the mother you see in the picture. The poorer picture is of a Fin Whale which swam by. It is really hard to get a picture because once they come up they go down. The next time is always a different place. Fin whales are the second largest mammal on earth. We saw three, but the one which came closest was about 50 to 60 feet long. We will hope to get some better pictures. For now I need some rest.
