Actually sailing

As we got to Sorel we made a 90 degree turn to starboard and decided to sail. We sailed quite well for about 10 nautical miles, well into Lake Pierre. The wind died and went aft so we took down the sails and motored to Trois-Rivière. Maurice Anderson had told us in the Winter that we should stay in The Seaway. "It looks like a wide river, but is isn't." Lake Pierre looks like a lake but lots of it is about 1 foot deep not all but lots. We stayed in The Seaway which meant we did not go straight. Rum lines are of little use.
